I have received a lot of encouraging calls and e-mail inquiries and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Many of you have sent me books from my Amazon wish list and said thank you for providing the inspiration and knowledge you need to succeed. I’ve received
some other gifts and encouragement from you too, and I just want to let you know I really appreciate it.
I get a lot of satisfaction from helping. Helping you get started with setting up your business, finding companies, follow-up procedures, securing in-house accounts… although I sometimes make a little money doing it, it does take up a lot of my time.
To constantly come up with new ideas for all reps and personalize plans for you is difficult. It certainly isn’t the smartest financial investment from a pure money perspective, but it is very rewarding emotionally.
If I did it just for money, I wouldn’t do it.
Luckily I have Vickie and Teri investing their time and talents in all of our businesses endeavors.  Their efforts allow me to spend less time on the day to day operations. I am able to spend more time helping you, creating web sites, updating training materials and working on long range projects for our businesses.
Most of my time the past week or ten days has been spent putting some things in place that were the end results of some of our long range projects. We have been working on some of these for a long, long time. A lot of projects came together in the same time frame so… it was time.
I’m telling you all of this to explain my absence from TerryPlatt.com for the last week or so. The blog, the mentoring, the teaching - I do it because I enjoy it, it keeps me going and it validates all that I do. I save and categorize all my e-mails as a reminder of you and what I may have been able to do for you.
So I just want to say thank you and let you know that I have been very busy with my own needs for a while. I look forward to helping you more in the future, giving you a little kick when you need it, and if need be, telling you why you may need to look elsewhere.

It seems that the Democrats are putting it on their back bumpers and the Republicans are putting it on their front bumper.
