I live in tampa florida, how would i get started as a field inspector/services

Put together a short list of the services you would like to offer and a zip code list of the areas you are willing to cover. Then, starting with your local lenders, contact real estate companies, lenders and the national companies located in Florida. Find out their needs and let them know you are available.

The company that I contract with is taking about two weeks to proccess my jobs. Then they don't pay for about another two weeks after they proccess. Is that normal for property preservation?

That is extremely good for this industry. Evidently they are trying to take care of their contractors.

My sister and brother-in-law have been turned down for an FHA loan because of a large metal power pole near the property. Seems odd. There is an entire subdivision there and others in communities across the United States. Is there a way to address this? I’m thinking it is the specific lender.

    Thank you.

It depends entirely if the home is located within the “fall zone” of the pole. If the pole were to fall, could it hit the home? If so, the home is not insurable for an FHA loan, per HUD guidelines.
